Firm Foam Pad comparison

I just had to try the new firm foam pad on this image from the My Friend stamp set. My set is a clear mount set and I have it on the big background size clear block.  I laid it rubber up for both images and inked it that way with the ink pad directly on the rubber.  The Night of Navy on the left was done with a lot of tap, tap, twist, tap, rub, tap, twist – you get the idea.  And still it is not a nice crisp full coverage image.  The one on the right was inked up the same way but with the new in color, Midnight Muse, which is a new Firm Foam ink pad.  I just barely had to tap, tap, and it is so juicy, similar to a Craft pad.  I have all the color families on their way.  I couldn't wait to switch over my old pads to the new firm foam! The price is the same but if you hostess a private party, you can get some of these FREE with your hostess dollars!  And June and July are great months to hostess!
