Party Pandas stamp set, Hockey Card, Hockey Scrabble Tile Board
My hubby made this board for our daughter who is a hockey mom of two hockey players and a 2 year old who I am sure will also be playing hockey. I used retired Stampin'Up! Timeless Type Alphabet Junior Sizzlits. This will hang on their wall. I made the hockey themed birthday card using tips and how to's from Diana Gibbs, a very talented demonstrator. She used a different layout and two hockey players. I used her idea of "tape" on the hockey stick (from the straw framelit from the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies) page 32 of the Occasions Catalog. I also used her idea of googling a helmet and then resizing it. I printed that off on card stock and fussy cut it. The background on the bottom is vellum, "scratched up" with the scoring stylus, and then added Wink of Stella. The backdrop is "dinged" with Smoky Slate Blends. These were also her tips. Love how it turned out and hope my 9 year old grandson likes his birthday card. Supplies are below!
