Surgery Update
So many have asked so will give you a brief update. I had surgery on Wednesday and the thyroid was cancerous and attached to my windpipe. The surgeon carved it out, then scraped it, then burned it, but I will have to do the radioactive iodine treatment to get it all. This treatment only works for thyroid cancer but is a great treatment for it as it kills just the cancer cells. I am hoping to get treatment done and recovered so that I can attend convention. I have my flight and room, and have never missed a convention since I became a demo in 2002! Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement!

Wow, Lynn…I had no idea! Have missed most of my usual blogs since April de to family issues. So sorry to hear about the need for the surgery but very happy that things went well and you have an excellent prognosis. I will count on seeing you at convention! (inkerzaway)
