World Treasures and Beautiful Birthday!

World Treasures 002
Okay, I had no desire to buy this stamp set but then when I saw the peacock could be purchased as a single stamp, I had this idea to use just for the design, not for the actual bird.  (Sorry, peacock lovers!).  Then I saw the single Beautiful Birthday stamp (Page 44, #125562, $6.95). I combined the 2 stamps for this card.  The card base is Baja Breeze, with a Not Quite Navy Lacy Brocade textured layer.  I stamped only on the edges with the peacock, then place the 2.5" circle over it and cut off the overhang.  I finished it off with the Basic Rhinestones and Baja Breeze seam binding!  I love that Stampin'Up! is offering some of the pieces of the sets, as a single stamp purchase.

  • Pennant Parade Stamp Set

This card is just so birthdayish, don't you think?  It is almost a complete copy of Connie Babbert's card, except I added the Perfectly Penned stamp set greeting, "Happy Birthday".  It also uses the Petite Pennants Builder punch which coordinates wonderfully with the Pennant Parade Stamp set.  The paper is the Big Top Birthday designer…

  1. Count me as a peacock lover, though my new stamp set has yet to see ink. But I love your idea of using the fan as an element! TFS
