Elf Shoes Fancy Favor Box die
Here is my 3rd Christmas Box design. The Angel and Reindeer boxes are on previous posts. I have seen these Elf Shoes on cards but thought I could make them work on the Fancy Favor die and I am also using the Top Note die on all boxes. The shoes are Cherry Cobbler and the box is Very Vanilla. The stockings are from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, page 20, of the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog. The shoes are done by using the Top Note Die, then cut in half the long way, point to point. Then take a half and cut in half again the short way, point to point. Use the Ornament Punch and punch half an ornament bite out of each. I did punch both at the same time, although it is not recommended to punch more than one piece of cardstock at a time. Punch with the 3/4" circle punch for the shoe tops or where the stockings attach. I used the 3/4" circle punch to make the Champagne Glimmer Paper ankle embellishments, too. Just punch, then move your punch up a bit and punch again to get the thin curved piece. The 1/2" circle punch is used for the pom poms. Isn't this cute? If you are interested in attending a class to make all these boxes, I am hoping to get one scheduled. Let me know if you are interested!
