Paper Lollies

I made my very first Lolly!  This was so simple using Stampin'Up!'s new Simply Scored scoring tool.  Since I was experimenting, I used leftover designer paper strips from the 2010-2011 Incolor designer series paper pack.  This is the Concord Crush.  Instead of using dowels, I used my kabob skewers, cutting off several inches.  I scored every half inch on the 1.5 x 12 inch strips.  I used 2 strips.  Then you accordian fold and adhere together to make one long strip.  Adhere so it is all attached and you have a circle.  Then use your crop a dile to punch a hole on one end, going through several layers at a time.  Thread linen thread through, pull tight, and tie a knot.  The attach circles and button, threading the linen through and tying a knot again.  I used sticky strip to attach to the skewer but you could use a hot glue gun or Crystal Effects. Thanks to Heather Summers for the video tutorial here
