Owl Punch Nurse

This card was made by Sherry Hostetter who got the idea from Jennifer Eby.  I love all the different characters that have been made with the owl punch from Stampin'Up! These are Sherry's instructions.     

I used the Owl punch #118074 $16.95 to make the nurse.  She is made with Crumb Cake #120953 $6.95 and Whisper White #10030 $8.50.  Don't you just love her blue (Pacific Point #111350 $6.95) eye shadow and nurse's cap (the owl's vest).  The tree was cut freehand from Crumb Cake and sponged heavily with Early Espresso Ink #119670 $5.95.  I took a pen on the backside of the limb and made the texture on it.  The tree branches and leaves are from the 2-step bird punch #117191 $16.95. I used Glossy # 102599 $5.95 CS, Marina Mist Ink #119668 $5.95, a sponge #101610 $3.50 and a scalloped circle to create the sky background.  I love making a sky like this. It is so much fun and always looks spectacular.  The sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set.  Thanks Sherry and Jennifer!
