Rose Wonder Stamp set, Rose Garden Thinlits Dies

Rose Wonder

Playing with this set on another snow day!  Flowers make me wish for Spring even more!  My card base is Watermelon Wonder with a layer of Birthday Bouquet designer series paper, page 9, #140557 $11, from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catty.  The stamp set and dies are also from this catty, page 18.  This photopolymer stamp set and dies can be purchased separately or as a bundle.  The bundle is $49.25, just 75 cents away from getting your choice of a Sale a Bration item FREE!  I love the sentiments in this stamp set and I messed up and didn't purchase as a bundle so I had to buy the stamp set on its own so don't make the same mistake I did!  I also used the new Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon on the right side, #140580, $8, page 31.  I die cut flower from Watermelon Wonder and the leaves from Old Olive cardstock.  This was all one die but just used the flower and leaf areas on whatever color I wanted them to be.  I adhered the rose with the Fine Tip Glue Pen (page 24), onto Shimmery White cardstock, then I just cut around the outside edge of the flower.  I watercolored with the aquapainters and Calypso Coral ink and the shimmer shows through so pretty, but I still added the clear Wink of Stella over my watercoloring.  This is on page 24 also.  I stamped the sentiment with the Archival Basic Black and placed the flower parts on the doily.  Very pretty!
