Back from D.C.

Here are some pictures from our South Dakota Mother and Young Mother of the Year trip to Washington, D.C.  My daughter, Elizabeth and I were honored to be representing our state at this conference.  Although we didn't win National Mother or National Young Mother of the Year, we had a fabulous time and have wonderful memories.  We arrived on Wednesday and stayed at the famous Willard Hotel, the finest in D.C.!  All of our events were held here except for the nighttime bus tour of the memorials, capital, etc.

There may be more pictures to share later on.  Elizabeth is #4 of 8 kids so she said that being the middle child, there is not much one on one with mom so this trip was amazing for the two of us!  I am so proud of her, and so blessed to share this honor with her.
