Chalkboard Technique
I think this is also called a Black Magic technique. Either way, this is my first time to try it. First you stamp with a bold image with Craft Whisper White pigment ink on dark cardstock. Then you can either use your chalks (Stampin'Pastels) or watercolor pencils (both sold on Page 154 of the Stampin'Up! catalog) to color your image. No heat setting. Just wipe your cardstock with a swiffer cloth afterward. Here I used Lovely Lilac, Summer Sun, and Basic Black cardstock. Inspired by Nature and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets were used for the image and greeting. Also used the Big Shot with the Finial Press embossing folder. I am not sure which one I like the best. These are all very pretty! I have never tried this technique, but it looks like a lot of fun. If I had to choose only one I would choose the first Purple one. I think the others seem really dark. But they are all beautiful!!! Well done!!!!

I love them all, but I love black and purple together anyway, but the flowers stand out a lot more in the top one! Guess because the purple brings out the purple in the flowers! I have to try this technique – so cool! I have even seen them outline them, but I like this best because it is softer!! Thanks for sharing! Love your cards!
