Letterpress Plate – Festive Finishes Pick a Pattern

This is the first time to use this letterpress plate from the Holiday Mini, page 21, #124097, $7.95.  I used a Garden Green CRAFT stampin' spot for the plate, then ran it through the Big Shot.  I did this on watercolor paper, page 181, #122959, $4.95.  The letterpress plates leave a debossed impression and work best with craft ink or versamark ink on textured cardstock or watercolor paper.  The card base is Very Vanilla with layers of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  The punched image is from the Christmas Lodge stamp set, also from the Holiday Mini, page 29.  I used Garden Green and Soft Suede markers for this.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set, page 164 of the Stampin'Up! catalog.  Punches are the Decorative Label punch and the 2.5 inch circle punch which is embossed with the Snow Burst embossing folder, page 33 of the Holiday Mini. I found this letterpress plate easier to use than some of the others.  This plate has 2 different debossed images for multiple uses.
