Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Class samples

Stitched Felt class samples 001

These were the cards from my Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Christmas Card Class.  I will post close ups of the top two as the other two have already been posted previously.  I am surprising a couple of my customers with a set of 4 of these cards.  Will it be you?

This layout was inspired by another demo but I can't remember who.  If it was you, let me know and I will give you credit.  You could easily use punched snowflakes or die cut snowflakes instead of the stitched felt.  The card base and the snowburst layer are Marina Mist.  The sentiment is on Whisper White and is from the Curly Cute stamp set, which is on page 168 of the big Stampin'Up! catalog.  I rubbed the snowburst layer with the White craft pad to make the snowflakes pop.  The ribbon is the 5/8" Organza Ribbon, page 195.  I did have the Marina Mist 5/8" Satin ribbon but chose the white instead.  I use the Multipurpose Liquid glue, page 206, to adhere the felt pieces.

This card uses the Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series paper (Gorgeous!) from the Holiday Mini catalog, page 20.  I cut the paper 4 x 3 inches.  This way you can get 12 cards out of one sheet of designer series paper.  The card base is Cherry Cobbler with a layer of Very Vanilla.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Greetings stamp set, page 41 of the big catalog, for $10.95.  Then just use narrow scraps of your Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the top and bottom.  This layout idea was inspired by Catherine Pooler.
