Christmas Lodge stamp set
I copied the layout of the Frosty Friends stamp on page 9 of the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog. I had 2 of my downline call me and ask how the curved piece was done on the bottom. I am not sure how Stampin'Up! did it but this is how I did it. See picture below.
I cut a strip of Very Vanilla and then used the Finishing Touches edgelits for the trim. I found that if I layer it with the edgelit, wax paper, and then cardstock, it cuts it nice but still has pieces of cardstock stuck to the edgelit. But with the wax paper, it comes off easily with the piercing tool. One of my downline's husband suggested wetting it with water and the cardstock picks off easily that way, too. Then I cut it with 3 scallops each and adhered it to the back of my focal piece, with the middle piece on top of the other two. Thank you, Stacey and Denise, for asking how it was done. Now I played with it and ta da! I don't have the Frosty Friends stamp but this image from the Christmas Lodge stamp set works great! My card base is Very Vanilla, with a layer of Lucky Limeade, embossed with the Delicate Designs embossing folders. The next layer is Early Espresso. The twine is Early Espresso Baker's Twine. I colored the image with Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso markers. The focal piece curved bottom was cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits.
