Candy Cane Place Card Holders (or card sample holders)

Candy Cane card holders
Made these last night.  I saw one posted on Facebook, then I googled it to find out how.  I had tried ribbon and that doesn't work.  Rubberbands are a must I think. The butterfly card is cased from Mary Fish.  I did use a different stamp set for the sentiment, Sassy Salutations.  This isn't a very good picture but I mainly wanted to showcase the candy cane holders.  Both cards will be December Stamp Club projects.  You can dress these holders up with ribbon and greenery but my cards cover all that up, so decided to leave it plain.  If you use these for place/name cards, then maybe you will want to decorate them more.  These would make great kid's projects, too.
