Elegant Butterfly Punch card
The other cards I made used the Bitty Butterfly punch. Well what do you do when you don't have that punch, but you have the bigger Elegant Butterfly Punch? This is what happened to one of my downline who lives several states away so not able to borrow/loan the Bitty Butterfly punch. I quick refigured measurements and this is what I came up with. The measurements for the strips are 1.5" wide and then 3", 2.5", and 2" in length. Make yourself a quide strip and punch your butterfly off the bottom and then use that guide to punch all the strips. My card base is basic black with a layer of smokey slate, and then used the Modern Medley designer series paper. Pretty much identical to my previous card, just turned the card horizontal and made the strips wider, and used the larger butterfly punch. I hope you like! The butterfly is stamped in versamark with an image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set, and then clear embossed. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.
I love this idea! So simple, but elegant!
