Dragonfly Dreams stamp set, Three Panel card, On Stage swap
Here I am in San Diego for Stampin'Up!'s On Stage event! Had to show you my swap card I made and also my pedicure I had done. I asked for a dragonfly since I had already made my swaps! I can hear my kids now, "Oh, Mom!" I love this Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. It is the only stamp set I used on my cards. It has sentiments, along with great images. It also has coordinating framelits but I didn't use them on this card. My card base is Blushing Bride that is 5.5" x 8.5", scored at 4.25". The Sweet Sugarplum layer is 5.25"x 4", and my black layer is 5" x 3.75". Then my white layer is 4.5" x 3.5". Stamp randomly over all with the dotted image. I stamped off first, then stamped the dots to give me a lighter, softer look. Then I stamped full strength Sweet Sugarplum with the solid wings image. Then stamp over with the dragonfly. I used the Clear Wink of Stella on the wings. After stamping, then cut the panels, 1.5" wide. Line them back up, like a puzzle. My sentiment strips are 1/2" wide x 4.25". I flagged the ends with the Triple Banner punch, then stamped the sentiment. Pop it up with dimensionals and it is done! I changed the placement of the sentiment strip, too.
