Healing Hugs Stamp Set, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Healing Hugs stamp set is a fabulous set with great sentiments and it is a distINKtive stamp set, meaning that it has a photo like look. Stampin'Up! has a patent pending on this type of stamp. It is hard to see the details in my photos but the detail is there. You can either stamp with one color, stamp and color in the image, or layer ink on the stamp with sponge daubers. I just used one color for each flower, either Lovely Lipstick or Berry Burst on the bottom two cards. I stamped on a light wood look sheet of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, which is one of the choices for the July Buy 3, Get 1 FREE promotion. The bottom two cards use retired Color Theory designer series paper that I was using up for quick cards to send in today's mail. The no longer available Heartfelt Blooms Sale a Bration stamp set was a distINKtive stamp set. I stamped the flower image on a Post It Note and cut it out. Then I stamped the image on my Wood Textures dsp or Whisper White, then covered it up with the post it note flower. This way I could stamp the leaves and make it look like they are behind my flower.
