Floral Essence Stamp Set, Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape
I really wanted to check out the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I love the flower it makes and it adds just the right finish to this card. There are two different rolls of washi tape in this package. One is narrow and is a script. Then this roll has 100 peel & stick petals, that are Merry Merlot and Very Vanilla. My top card has the Very Vanilla cardstock with an extra layer of Crushed Curry. The bottom card is stamped on Whisper White. I think both turned out beautiful! I did punch a 1" circle, that I placed on the silicone craft sheet, then I started placing my petals on that circle, forming the flower. When my flower was complete, I dusted the back of the petals with my embossing buddy so that the flowers wouldn't stick down flat onto my card. I love the Floral Essence stamp set that I chose to pair it with. This set is bundled with the Perennial Flower Punch but I did not use it on this card. My Crumb Cake "dots" are from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. Any "texture" type stamp would work as a filler of those empty areas. After I was done with my stamping, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder for even more texture. And then I finished off my flower with the Perennial Essence Floral Centers which are adhesive backed! Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Just click to order. Happy stamping!
