Celebrate Today stamp set, Balloon Framelits

I love this technique of making clouds as a background!  The talented Jeanette Swain did a similar card for her shoebox swap at Leadership and I just did some tweaking and changed the colors, layout, etc. for my clubs this month.  It uses the Celebrate Today stamp set and Balloon Framelits from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog, page 11.  This can be purchased as a bundle, saving you 15%!  Add the Scallop Circle punch to your bundle and you will qualify for a FREE Saleabration choice!  How did I make the clouds in the background?  You use the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch to make your Scallop Circle cardstock piece, laying it on your Whisper White cardstock and then sponging Bermuda Bay ink around the top of the scallops.  Move it to another spot and sponge again.  Keep repeating until your white layer is covered!  My card base is Bermuda Bay with layers of Melon Mambo and Whisper White.  After I die cut my balloons, I stick them in all the way with the Confetti Stars punch.  I also die cut a vellum piece that fits behind the top balloon, another of Jeanette Swain's ideas.  I attach a mini glue dot behind the balloon "neck" and then wrap linen thread around it, no tying!  Hope you like!
